Job Description:
Director of Emergency/Trauma Services, AZ This exciting role incorporates the leadership of the Emergency Department, the Observation Unit, Trauma Services and Pre-Hospital Department. The position requires 24 hours/day 7 days/week responsibility for 70 employees. The key aspects of the position require hiring and retaining highly qualified individuals to carry out the functions required of them in their respective job descriptions. The Emergency Services purpose is to provide quality patient care in an emergent and urgent situation, and to evaluate that care on an ongoing basis and report results to the Quality Council. This is achieved by a continuous quality improvement process within the departments and a constant upgrading and evaluation of the educational and skills needs of each individual employee. MSN - required. Five (5) years of Emergency Nursing with prior supervisory experience.
