Job Description: Revenue Cycle Data Analyst- provides technical expertise across multiple applications and platforms, works with all revenue cycle departments and Information Services managers and staff to support report writing, interfaces, forms management middleware components, other legacy applications and technological solutions to meet the goals of the organization. The Revenue Cycle Data Analyst will identify and analyze user requirements and recommend appropriate applications and/or modifications. This calls for developing an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the application set, working with the user community to define their needs, and designing and delivering application solutions to meet those needs and improve the operational and financial positions of the hospital.
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business or a Clinical area is required; four (4) years relevant experience in a challenging IT or business environment may be substituted for this requirement.
Four (4) or more years IS applications or healthcare operations experience with a minimum of 3 years IS experience required.
Experience in relational database report writing, multi-system/platform integration.
Experience in the following: logical and physical applications design, technical documentation, full-cycle system development, web and/or web application server administration.
