Job Description:
Coding Manager-CT- The Coding Manager will direct the day-to-day operations and assume responsibility for assuring compliance with regulatory requirements for Coding Services. The Coding Manager will coordinate secondary level review of coding to support the HIM Compliance Program and pre-emptive audits to support the RAC (Recovery Audit Contractor) review process. In addition, the Coding Manager will serve as the HIM liaison to the Documentation Improvement Program (DIP), and will identify opportunities for education. The qualified candidate will 3-5 years experience of acute care inpatient coding as well as 2-3 years of emergency department coding plus 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
