Job Title: Chief Financial Officer-IL-OPEN

Job Description:
Chief Financial Officer - IL As a key member of the senior management team, the CFO will report to the Hospital’s Chief Executive Officer and will work closely with the Vice President, Financial Operations of the Health Care System. The CFO will have responsibility for all fiscal activities of the hospital including all aspects of the accounting function, strategic planning, budgeting, audits, taxes and the preparation of regulatory and governmental agency reports. Provide financial direction and execution toward the achievement of the Hospital's budget and strategic planning objectives. Interpret trends and variances and assist the CEO in designing cost containment measures and maximizing growth opportunities. 7 years of progressive healthcare financial experience with for-profit healthcare hospital/system required 5 of the years as a CFO with a strong operations focus. Will be expected to lead the effort to help the Hospital achieve or exceed projected revenue and profitability targets and ensure the Hospital continues to achieve EBITDA contribution targets. Strong communicator who has a collaborative management style and who can inspire employees, physicians, nursing staff and the management team and external constituents and organizations to effect change and the short- and long-term profitability of the Hospital.
