Job Title: Vice President of Managed Care - MA - OPEN

Job Description:
Vice President, Managed Care - MA -Seeking experienced executive to oversee all aspects of managed care and risk agreements for two hospitals in Massachusetts. Reporting to the Regional Vice President and Controller, this person will be responsible for planning, development, strategy, contract modeling and interpretation for all provider contracts with our hospitals and employed physician groups. Working closely with our hospital-based CFOs, this person will serve as chief negotiator during contract renewal cycles. Duties include; coordination of the contract review process for financial impact with managed care analyst, directing of the legal review of contracts, tracking revenue from managed care organizations through information obtained from the Finance Department, providing reports on contracting activities to appropriate personnel. Assists Hospitals with denial management, payment disputes and contract interpretation issues. Experience required: 7- plus years experience with both hospital rate agreements and risk and “pay for performance” agreements a must. Bachelors degree in business or health related field required and experience in the Massachusetts market a plus. The leadership and environment are excellent.
