Job Description: Director of Clinical Informatics CT- Responsible for planning, implementing and supporting Clinical Information Systems projects. Reporting directly to CIO, the Director is responsible for ensuring that clinical systems meet user need and requirements, is installed according to scope and plan and achieve desired strategic outcomes. Duties include managing day to day clinical systems operations, establishing and monitoring project work plans and budgets, working closely with project team members to monitor individual programs and job performance, resolving issues, preparing project status reports and coordinating educational activities and priorities with users and the vendor.
Experience: Seven years of experience in nursing which includes a minimum of five year’s experience in nursing/clinical informatics. Prefer past experience in a nursing leadership position (Director, Manager). A college degree or a certification in nursing informatics will be accepted in leu of the specific nursing experience related to nursing/clinical informatics. Bachelor's Degree required in a health field, business or nursing informatics. Master's Degree is preferred. This is a must see if you have the credentials.
