Job Description:
Director Resource / Case Management – MS - Under the general direction of the CFO/CNO, assumes operational oversight and evaluation of the Resource Management program. Operational oversight includes but is not limited to the collaboration, research, development, implementation, revision and reporting of the resource management program to the utilization review committee. Working with all appropriate members of the health care team, ensure coordination of patient care through the development and use of standards of patient care and nursing practices. Ensure that specific outcomes are achieved and that variances from the established and accepted parameters are evaluated and addressed as necessary. Continually strives to make the best use of time through careful coordination of daily tasks and priorities to achieve maximum productivity and efficiency. Does not waste time in non-essential interruptions. Maintains a prompt attitude in returning from breaks, meals, and errands. Consistently demonstrates a “needs-no-reminder” attitude after directions have been explained; carries out work assignments promptly; demonstrates ability to learn and adapt to changes in department functions; works well independently with little or no need for direct supervision.
