Job Description:
Director of Nursing Performance - NY - We have an exciting full time opportunity in our Nursing Administration Department for a detail oriented RN with excellent organizational skills, to excel in this quality improvement position. Reporting directly to the Chief Nursing Officer, the Director coordinates the integration of nursing process and competencies, to assist managers with the development of unit specific performance improvement plans. The Director also ensures Joint Commission and external regulatory compliance. Education: MS in Nursing is required with previous experience in performance improvement activities required. Experience: The successful candidate must also demonstrate skills in interpersonal relationships, organizing & completing special projects, proving competence in providing leadership & organizational skills, and the ability to promote exemplary patient care & an outstanding learning environment. Experience with MAGNET Recognition application process is very desirable with a minimum of 7 years acute care experience required. Enjoy culture, environment and location.
