Job Description:
PACS Specialist - MA - Reporting to the CIO, the PACS Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating existing and new PACS and digital imaging initiatives as well as providing configuration and systems analysis. Must be able to effectively handle project related tasks to optimize workflow and system performance of the PACS system and peripheral applications. Will serve as project coordinator for system upgrades, installations of additional modules, and new system implementation initiatives which will also include end-user training. Will also develop and assign system security clearance to end users and work closely with Network/Server Administrator on issues related to uptime, disk storage, and network administration.
